On June 7th 2024, the Russian Nobility Association held its annual Charity Ball at the famed Pierre Hotel. The evening celebrated the colorful history of the Ballet Russes, one of the most important cultural movements in Russian emigré history. Excerpts from Sergei Diaghilev’s productions were performed during the dinner. Guests bid on beautiful items included in the silent auction and enjoyed learning about the Ballet Russes from visual displays. Towards the end of dinner, a lively crowd of dancing ticket holders entered the ballroom, some even wearing dresses inspired by the costume designs from the Ballet Russes. A wonderful time was had, and many continued on to the after-party.
