It is with profound regret that the Board of the Nobility Association in America announces the untimely death of Princess Maria Piotrovna Galitzine, Mrs. Singh in Houston on 4th May, 2020.
Princess Galitzine was born on 11 May, 1988 in Luxembourg, the daughter of Prince Piotr Dmitrievich Galitzine and his wife, née H.R.& I.H. Archduchess Maria Anna of Austria.
Princess Maria returned with the family to Russia as a five-year old in 1993, and attended the German School of Moscow. After graduation she moved to Belgium and later lived and worked in Brussels, Chicago, and Houston, specializing in interior design and furnishing. She was married to Rishi Roop Singh in Houston, and the couple have a son, Maxim Singh, two years old.
She is survived by her son and husband, her parents, and her sisters Princess Xenia, Mrs. Matta; Princess Tatiana, Mrs. Sierra; Princess Alexandra Galitzine; and her brothers, Princes Dmitri and Ioann Piotrovich Galitzine, Mrs. Singh was buried in the Orthodox section of Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Texas, on Friday, May 8th, 2020.
